Probability

Task Description:

For this task we had to learn about where the word probability is used and what it means for example probability can be used in school subjects like writing, it could be predicting the outcome of the ending conclusion. Overall it was challenging to find out more about probability because probability is used for so much things like it could even be used for predicting the time on which the traffic lights are going to turn green.

Volleyball Last Friday

Last Friday the year 8 students and a couple of the year 7 students from Glen Taylor School had the opportunity to play a game of volleyball against Glenn Innes and also against the police as well. What was surprising is that we won all our games besides the game vs the police. Overall it was fun playing volleyball for the school for the first time and I can say I did pretty good for the first time besides all the other players in our team.  I would say the most challenging school was probably Glenn Innes themselves but we still managed to come through with the win. Have you ever played volleyball for the first time for your school and still won?

Duffy assembly

on Tuesday August the 13th we had a Duffy assembly although it was a bit boring I can admit it was interesting that they included the audience in their show and they also went on a mission to find out the person that sabotaged their main character. I love the fact that they were honoured to include one of the teachers Mrs-Tupou-Foua.

In Conclusion here is a famous motivational quote from Kevin Durant himself,Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. By Kevin Durant himself.

Task Description:

Last week we were given a specific time to choose an Olympian in any sport, like for example I chose Kevin Durant that is currently playing for the 2024 USA Olympics basketball team. the reason why I chose him was because he is one of my favourite NBA players and the things I chose to write about him was what his childhood was like and is there any records that he has broken or has to this day and lastly one of his quotes that he has said and inspired me to always reach my goals and dreams, the quote goes like this. (hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.
