WALT: Understanding Mean, Mode, Range and Median of a given set of numbers

Mode – most common: 1, 2 & 9

 

Range – Highest – Lowest: 25, 23, 21, 14, 9, 9, 7, 4, 2, 2, 1, 1. 

 

Median – Arranging the numbers from lowest to highest and identifying the middle: 8

 

Mean – add all numbers and divide by how many there are: 118 divided  by 12 = 9.83 

Task Description:

For maths we are learning to solve equations/problems using the mean,median,range and mode. It was fun because it was a new experience for me. It was also exciting because it was challenging.
